Join us at a Monthly Member Meeting
The FBA hosts 9 member meetings a year, a summer picnic and a holiday gathering in December. There are no meetings in January. This is the chance to meet your fellow local business owners and potential customers. Our meetings are approximately one hour. Refreshments and social networking follow for those interested in staying longer..
In 2022, the FBA is looking to update the monthly meetings to incorporate some new, fresh faces and.... a new meeting style. The FBA Board is working diligently to reach out to not only local FBA Members, but other businesses in Asheville to join us as 'special guests'. Our desire for these new meetings is to bring more insight of opportunities on how to grow our businesses.
Members are asked to volunteer their work location to host a meeting as there is no official FBA workplace. Invitations are emailed out to all members in advance of the meetings and can be found on the FairviewBusiness.com website and Facebook.
*Be sure to bring your business cards for networking and to enter FBA drawings throughout the year.

Where: The Pond Retreat Center at 18 Garren Mountain Lane
Bring: A dessert and drink of choice, optional chair, bug spray
Prepare for; Rain or shine! (There are places to duck under if rain)
It might be helpful for you to visit his website in advance of your visit because it has a map with the lay of the land. The Pond Retreat Center . Once you cross over the bridge on Garren Mountain Lane and enter the Retreat Center grounds, look for signs showing parking areas. Lee Pantas, our host, in his golf cart along with his white dog, Cleopatra, will help us park.
The whole idea is to have a relaxing time after work and have a picnic style catered meal of smoked chicken, boiled corn and sides. A grill will be set up if you want to bring something else.
You are in for a treat to see this area with lots of places to explore or sit in the chairs provided (or bring your own) in the “Swallow Garden.” Corn Hole will be set up.
This retreat center was created by Lee James Pantas, artist and author to provide a place for deep relaxation with trails, water features and beautiful flowers. Last year 80 groups were hosted here.
